I love these heated gloves! Makes my time riding horses much more pleasurable when my hands aren't cold. I do wish the lanyard was a little more durable. This is my second one in just a year. Also the shipping was ridiculously expensive! Doubled the price of the item. They should offer a cheaper shipping rate than just 2 day priority.

I purchased a second lanyard controller to permanently place in my riding jacket. While worth the price.

I'm a forester and work outside in all weather. I love your glove liners. They make working in very cold weather comfortable and near intolerable conditions tolerable. However, that said it seems I need to replace the controller annually. That is an annoyance in an otherwise great product.

The controller is okay l do find l go through 2-3 a year they seam to break at the connection area a lot . I put the battery in my pocket and that puts stress on the connection ,also the connection is a 45 degree angle maybe if it was straight it would last longer ?

Lanyard Controller

i have raynaud's and i use the lanyard and liner for cross country skiing and walking about. granted, all that much wiring is not the most practical of solution for XC-ski, but my options are limited and i can live it. however, this is a replacement lanyard as the first one shorted out at the controller/circuit board after about 20 uses. my suspicion is from body moisture getting into the controller, but i could be wrong. i carefully prayed open the controller switch to find a poorly soldered connection which i re-soldered, and established a better circuit connection but it did not solve the problem. i figure the tiny capacitor was toast.
there is also the issue of changing power levels and even shutting off the power from moving about. the controller switch is easy to disturb even on walks as it moves around inside my jacket.
