I was able to buy a battery replacement for my heated vest that I have owned for several years. In the past, I had a vest from another company. When the battery died on my Columbia vest, I could not replace the battery and could not longer use the heating element. I was very pleased that i can continue to use the vest from ActiVHeat with the new battery.

I have 2 of the old style heated vests and a pair of heated gloves that I have had for many years. They really work well. I'm very sensitive to cold and I use the vests year round whenever it is chilly - even a cool summer night. In winter, I use them under a ski jacket to provide that extra level of warmth. The gloves are great for snowmobiling..

Love my vest, but my batteries were getting old.  These packs gave the vests new life!  The directions are a little confusing as my packs came charged.

After having charged the battery to the full, I tested the device with the vest in extreme cold conditions ie, approx minus 2 degrees celsius.
I started the device on 'full' power and reduced it to 'low'.  I found sitting in a tree stand quite comfortable for approx 4 hours.
